1. What happened?

【详解】 这个句子用来询问某人发生什么事。是”What happened to sb?”的缩写形式。

E.g.  — What happened?

— My watch stopped and I didn't know the  time. So I am late for the meeting. 

【拓展】 

(1) 询问发生什么事还可以用。”What's the matter with …?” “What's wrong with … ?”来表示。

E.g. — What's the matter?

— I fell off the bike and hurt my leg. 

— What's wrong with your mother?

— She had a cold and she couldn't come to the parents' meeting. 

2. Are you all right?

【详解】 这个句子用来询问别人还好吧。

【拓展】 另外,值得注意的是“That's all right.” 与“That's right.” 的区别:

“That's all right.” 常用来回答“谢谢;对不起”,表示“不客气;没关系”;

而“That's right.” 是同意对方的观点或看法时的常用语,意思是“对;正确” 。
