现在进行时的被动语态

1 构成

肯定式：主语+am/is /are+being done. 

否定式：主语+am/is /are not+being done. 

一般疑问式：Am /Is /Are+ 主语+being done? 

特殊疑问式：疑问词 +am/is/are+（主语+）being done? 

At present，lots of food，water，tents and medicine are being sent to the disaster-hit area. 

目前，大量的食物、水、帐篷和药品正被送往灾区。［词汇复现］ 

What measures are being taken to protect the endangered animals?

2 用法

（1）表示说话时正在进行的被动动作。

She is being examined by the doctor now. 她现在正在接受医生的检查。

（2）表示现阶段正在进行的被动动作，说话时不一定在进行。

A new gallery is being built. 一个新的画廊正在建造中。［词汇复现］ 

（3）表示一种经常性的被动行为，常与 always，constantly，frequently 等表示频度的副词连用，带有赞赏或厌恶等感情色彩。

The girl is always being praised by her teachers. 这个女孩总是受到老师的表扬。

（4）表示按计划或安排将要发生的被动动作（仅限于少数及物动词）。

Some classical music is being played by them next. 

下面将由他们演奏一些古典音乐。［词汇复现］ 

3 注意事项

（1）一些表示状态、心理活动、拥有、存在等的动词，如 have，want， need，love，realize 等，一般不用于进行时，因而也没有进行时的被动语态，而常用一般现在时的被动语态表示此刻或目前主语正承受谓语动词表示的动作。

Mary，come here. You’re being wanted on the phone. （×） 

Mary，come here. You’re wanted on the phone. （√） 

玛丽，过来，有你的电话。

（2）少数动词用于现在进行时态，用主动形式表示被动含义，如 print，cook，fry，hang，build，make 等。

The meat is cooking. 肉正煮着。 

（3）“be + in /on /under + 名词”常含被动意义，可代替现在进行时的被动语态。

The problem is under discussion now. 

= The problem is being discussed now. 

现在这个问题正在讨论中。

（4）因为被动语态的基本结构为 be done，不少学生误将现在进行时 的被动语态结构“am/is/are + being done”写成一般现在时的被动语态结构“am/is/are + done”。

Look! The road is built.（×） 

Look! The road is being built.（√） 

瞧，这条道路正在建设中。

The dinner is prepared by Christina.（×） 

The dinner is being prepared by Christina.（√） 

晚宴正由克里斯蒂娜准备着。
